     Vermont has become a year-round resort area.  The summers are gorgeous and of course we are known for our Autumn foliage.  Activities range from biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, and swimming to name just a few.  The winter months provide the opportunity for skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and cross-country skiing.  No matter what time of year, there is always wonderful shopping in  Manchester, where all the outlets are, Weston, where the playhouse and the Vermont Country Store are located, and Woodstock which is known for its charm and setting as well as its shopping and dining. Other area activities include: The Billings Farm Museum, Calvin Coolidge Birthplace, Dorset Theater, Weston Playhouse, Fly Fishing Museum, The Quechee Gorge, as well as the Simon Pearce Glassblowing workshop and restaurant. At any time, you can take a drive on Route 7(North or South), Route 4, or venture off onto many of Vermont's back roads and browse the antique shops. There is much to do at any time of the year when you visit Vermont!
